Local customers please choose "local pickup" in checkout, you will not be charged shipping, but you do need to call us to arrange pickup. Please call us Monday-Friday 11:00-2:00 or leave a message and we will call you to set up a time.
In order to save resources including petroleum and boxes we have a $15.00 minimum on all orders, except swatches which ship in an envelope via regular mail. Shipping charges are based on UPS or USPS rates. In order to get the estimate of cost you must compile all of your items in the cart, then go to checkout and put in your shipping info. Our cart estimates weight and your location to come up with the cost of shipping.
We now have a Free shipping threshold. Spend $200.00 and get your items shipped for free, regular UPS ground or USPS Priority only, expedited shipping difference will be covered by customer. Free shipping applies to domestic customers only, sorry to our international customers. It is too expensive for us to absorb the cost of international shipping, so we cannot offer this special to you
Alaska and Hawaii-There is no UPS ground service option please choose USPS Priority Mail.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-We use the United States Postal Service to ship international orders. We are not responsible for and have no knowledge of different customs rates for different destination countries. UK customers please click here to check your country's customs rate page. The buyer is responsible for all duties and taxes. USPS has the best rates and if you order 7 yards or less of regular weight fabrics, (no flannels, velveteen, upholstery or wool fabrics), we will put it in a Flat Rate Envelope which ships for $23.95, this is the USPS flat base shipping charge, we charge no additional shipping or handling fees.
FOR THE CHEAPEST INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING- If you have a light weight package, (under 2 pounds), you can choose First Class International and get a lower rate, than the flat rate envelope. This is a great option also for bulky fabrics, anything under 4 pounds is much cheaper than Priority International. We do our best to save you money for shipping, but it is not always possible. Bulky fabrics like fleece, velvet, felt, etc. will not fit in the Flat Rate envelope, these fabrics are shipped in the smallest, lightest packaging available via USPS International at the standard priority mail rates. At your request we can sometimes split shipments and send in two flat rate envelopes to save shipping costs. Only the smallest size of textile paints or dyes qualify for the Flat Rate envelope with a maximum of 8 jars. For orders of 9 or more jars or for any order that includes the larger sizes (ie. 4oz., 8oz, etc.) will be shipped in the smallest, lightest packaging available via USPS International Priority Mail at the standard priority mail rates. You will only be charged shipping after we process the order and only actual shipping charges will be applied.
Expedited Shipping-UPS Next Day Air orders must be received no later than 12 pm to ensure same day shipping. Next Day Air is only guaranteed Monday - Thursday, if you would like Saturday delivery you must call us to request this option (additional shipping costs will incur). UPS 3 Day Select & 2nd Day Air orders must be received no later than 2pm Pacific time in order to ensure same day shipping. Any orders with expedited shipping received on weekends or after the shipping times stated above will ship on the next business day.
Please Note* Shipping batting and stuffing to Alaska, Hawaii and internationally is quite expensive. These are oversized packages and there are often charges in addition to what our shopping cart estimates. Please take this into consideration when placing an order.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or items damaged in shipping unless we packaged it incorrectly. If you would like to purchase additional insurance please note that in checkout, and we will add the charge to your shipping total.
Any shipments returned to our shop because of the customers failure to pickup or refusal will not be refunded, but will only be reshipped at the customer's expense.
